The class names are finalized (I may tweak one or two before we go to print). I'm fairly satisfied. To paraphrase Bilbo Baggins, concerning the class name "I don't like half of them half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of them half as well as they deserve."
That statement of his still makes my head hurt. :)
Okay here is the final list:
There you have it! I'm very excited about these. They are going to add a whole new flavor to the game I think. I'm pleased with all of them but the the Skald probably landed closes to home for me, a warrior bard (no instruments), who is able to increase his AC before battle, heal himself by wounding his enemies (Foe's Blood) and summon fey to his aid. And then the Spellbinder is one who could not make the cut in being a wizard. With his partial knowledge of wizardly ways he steals spells while they are being cast, drains the essence of casters and so on. Very excited about that one.
I will not swear that those names will stay the way they are, though the classes will. I'm not super happy with Archer, Hawker, Etherborne, Varangian and Primal Druid.
Next week, we'll wrap up the backpack section. We will begin ordering the backpacks and dice pouches in the coming weeks.

We are moving to finishing up the Adventurers Backpack in the next month. It joins the Hallowed Oracle front and center. We have most of the classes roughed out, though I need to sit down with Mac Golden and go over them (for those of you who may not know, Mac is one of the co-creators of Castles & Crusades). He is very good at noticing abilities or powers that mimic other class abilities in a negative way. So I want to confer with him and summer vacations have tripped us a bit.
The spells section moves apace and the backpacks are written up but need some major editing to make sure the prices and weights line up before we commit them to cards and paper.
The backpack and dice bag are being ordered in July, and we might actually ship them separately to help us out on media mail, though please don't hold us to that.
